Here are a few from Heidi and Joe's Wedding a few weeks ago. These two tied the knot at the Chillon Reception in Spanish Fork. I photographed a wedding there almost 7 years ago when I was barely starting to photograph weddings. They've put quite a lot of work into remodeling this venue and I must say, this place is just so cute and charming! It was a perfect setting for Heidi and Joe's intimate ceremony and dinner. Thanks for choosing me to photograph your special day! It was lots of fun!

Here are a few favs from Kristi and Justin's wedding last summer. They got married at "This Is The Place" Heritage Park in Salt Lake. It was a cute and casual outdoor setting. I love how all the bridesmaids wore cowboy boots. Kristi did a lot of fun things. She set up her our photo booth with props- which the wedding party had a lot of fun with! I laugh every time I look at the pictures. My favorite though is of Kristi getting ready. She got into her dress on the second floor of the pink farmhouse. Such a cool room. It had the best lighting. It was a great intimate moment.

Just thought I'd share this little but of cute-ness from JJ and Sovatdy's Wedding today. Yes these cute little balls of fur walked down the isle with the happy couple. All though the doggie bride lost her little doggie dress about half way into the ceremony, but was panting and wagging it's tail all the same. I can't wait to post all those this couple fun shots so far. Well I'm off like a doggie dress to go shoot their reception!

Logan and Karley's Formals - Sneek Peek!

Here is a little preview of the formal shoot I did with these two cuties last night. They actually got married a couple weeks ago. And it was seriously so beautiful! And the weather was gorgeous all through the ceremony and up until we were just about finished with the formal group shots. We felt a few raindrops, then it started to downpour - which totally took all the time we had planned for shots of just the two of them. So I told Karley she had to let me do another shoot with them! I tell ya though, these two have an awesome family! I've never seen a group of people work as quickly and efficiently together as their family did. Once the rain stopped they had that place looking just as beautiful as it did before! It turned out to be an awesome night!

Look at me, two blog posts in one week. Yay for me and my bad self! We'll I'm going a little bit out of order, but I guess what does it really matter. I did all of Adrienne and Jesse's formal pictures about a week or so before their wedding so that way they could enjoy more of their big day. I gotta say, not a bad idea! So I guess I'm out of order by posting their wedding before their formal shoot. That's ok, cause their wedding was just so dang cute. I LOVE weddings that are just a total party, and Adi and Jesse's totally was. It was a blast! I'll get working on their cute formals so we can all oooh and aww over how cute this couple is! Why hello Blog! Long time no post! Is anyone still reading this... well I guess I'm probably the worst blogger in existence. Sorry about that! There really are so many fun shoots that are just itching to meet "the blog". So I will move as fast as I can to make that happen. Anywhoo, here are Mindy and Braden's engagements. This couple has quite the story! 2 Days before their wedding, Mindy was taken to the hospital for a blood clot. Everything thing was postpone! And of course, Mindy was devastated! Who wouldn't be? But she has one amazing family. She was released from the hospital the morning of her wedding. Her family threw together a last minute ceremony at a new venue and these two were hitched! Last night they had their reception at the woods on ninth. It was absolutely beautiful. Sometimes the journey can be crazy, but a happy ending is all that matters. Congrats you two! I can't wait to post Mindy's Bridals. They are AH-Mazing!

Seriously, did someone turn up the temperature in here, cause this couple is HOT! Here's a sneek peek from Adrienne and Jesse's shoot today! I'm having the hardest time narrowing these down, I LOVE them all! We started off at an orchard in Provo, which I must say had the most gorgeous lighting ever, then finished off with their formals at the Salt Lake Temple. These two could be in magazines! Everyone say hello to my super cute nephew Josh! If you ask any photographer, most will say you want to photograph a newborn with in the first 14 days. Well, with Christmas and all the fun stuff, that didn't quite happen. But who can tell, he's still oh so cute! Alaina - Sneak Peak

Does it seem like all I ever do anymore are sneak peaks? I really couldn't resist with this cute on of Alaina! I just love everything about it! I'm actually going to do a second shoot with Alaina this week, so I don't have all the pictures yet to do a full post. The first location I picked was a super cool field, which I loved, but it had a ton of prickers, which I didn't love and neither did Alaina. So by the time we got to another location, we had lost a lot of light and Alaina was getting tired. I'm super excited I get to spend more time with her, I mean look at that smile, who wouldn't right? :)

The next few weeks are going to be spent playing catch up. I've just completed the bulk of my weddings for the season. It's been extremely busy and it's really truly been a blast. I really feel fortunate for the jobs I've had this summer and I am so excited to finally have time post everything I've done. So stay tuned!

Brittney and Tyler were so much fun to photograph. Brittney said she wanted industrial style images and I think we found the creepiest alley in Salt Lake. My husband and I scoped it out the night before and I swear I couldn't stop looking over my shoulder. But it was definitely worth it, because Brittney looks absolutely amazing! Her vail and flowers were hand made and completely gorgeous. She and Tyler are so great together. Their wedding is next month. I can't wait.

Our friends AJ and Brandon Hanson recently started The Orchid Experience with AJ's brother Ren and his wife Shauna. They make amazing bath products such as lotions, soaps, scrubs, bath bubblers (oooh bath bubblers :) ), shampoo and conditioner. I'm a nut for professional hair care products. I can't live without them. I've been using the Orchid shampoo and conditioner for 2 weeks now, and it is absolutely fabulous. I love it more than my biologe.

Check these guys out! Their products are all natural. I know you'll fall in love!

Sage is turning 5...

Sage is turning 5 years old next week. For her birthday party invitations, Sage's mom Milissa wanted to have a picture of her showing off her new age. Not only did she show us how old she'll be turning, she also showed us her model side! Believe me when I say this 5 year old has got the look with a whole lotta spunk!

....Oh and don't you just love the tutu! She gets to dress up as a ballerina princess, hence the tutu, and have a tea party on her special day.

I love photographing children. You never know what kind of shots you'll get. Some pull at the heart strings and others just make you bust out laughing! I think there is a little of both from this session. Cessily had such hilarious expressions, I couldn't resist including a couple. And Andrew, what a sweetheart. He was so tuckered out by the end. After we were done, I let their mom go through the pictures on my camera, and he just snuggled right up to me. Ah! We had lots of fun.

I really enjoyed shooting Mike and Brie. Talk about a sweet couple. They were married up in the Logan Temple, the same temple Brie's parents were married in. It was my first time ever shooting up there. After the temple, the three of us walked along the streets of Logan and adventured back into random ally ways. I love shooting in new scenery. You find the best shots that way. That evening, every headed back for the reception in Riverton. What energy! It was great capturing so many "moments". Thanks Mike and Brie for so many fun pictures!

AJ and Brandon's Engagements - Sept 20, 2008

I shot AJ and Brandon's Engagements back in Sept In Park City, UT. I'm really happy with how they turned out. This was my first time shooting in there and it won't be my last. There were so many back ground options and the colors were amazing. It started off completely sunny and then by the end it was totally raining. Fun day!

Funny story to go a long with this. I worked with AJ and Brandon at Modbe Clothing so I know them pretty well. Anyways, that morning we decided to meet up at McDonalds and grab some breakfast before we started shooting. So the 5 of us, AJ and Brandon, Me and my husband Brett, and Brandon's sister Kristen. we were just sitting there eating and all of a sudden behind us we hear some punk kid shouting all these profanities to someone. We turn around to see what was up and this kid was trying to beat up some elderly man right in front of the man's wife. It was crazy! Obviously they kicked him out and called the police. It was quite the scene. Made for an interesting start to the day though.

Not being originally from Utah, I'm not as familiar with all its nooks and crannies as I'd like to be. So when Aaron's family introduced me to this park I was in love. It's normally not my first suggestion to say "Let's shoot in a lots-o-green, tree-filled park" but the atmosphere here was completely different than anything else I've seen in Utah. In Highland, just off of the Highland HWY (I think that's what the road is called) there is a subdivision. You drive into it thinking it's any ordinary subdivision, but then the road dips down and you feel you've driven into some gorgeous quaint neighborhood back east. The park we shot in had covered bridges and a babbling brook and not to mention the most beautiful lighting at 9:30 in the morning. I hope you like them as much as I did!
